Staveley MWFC Unveils New-Look Digital Hub to Kick Off “A New Era For The Trojans”
INKERSALL ROAD — Eleven years after its historic first digital transformation, Staveley Miners Welfare FC has officially launched a brand-new, completely redesigned official website.
The club’s original online platform, launched in October 2015, marked a major turning point for the organisation. It coincided with the birth of “The Trojans” moniker and a massive push to bridge the gap between the senior squads and a thriving junior ranks system. Over the past decade, that original site served as the foundation as the club evolved into one of the region’s premier community football hubs.
However, as Staveley MWFC has expanded on the pitch—building state-of-the-art facilities, launching the Staveley MWFC Community Trust, and establishing a new Football Academy—the need for a modern digital home became clear.
The newly launched platform offers supporters, players, and families a sleek, user-friendly experience. The upgraded site features faster access to match fixtures, integrated community news, and streamlined dedicated sections for all junior and senior teams.
Club Chairman Terry Damms commented on the landmark digital launch:
Back in 2015, we set a high standard for our matchday and community experience, both on and off the pitch. This new website represents the next step in our evolution. It gives our supporters, volunteers, and partners a first-class digital facility that matches the incredible physical redevelopments we’ve achieved at Inkersall Road.
