What information we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us:
- Enquiry and contact forms — when you contact us about the Club, facility hire, sponsorship or education programmes, we collect your name, contact details and the content of your message.
- Commercial and sponsorship enquiries — business contact details you provide when discussing partnership packages.
- Technical data — our hosting provider automatically records limited technical information, such as IP addresses in server logs, for security and to keep the website running.
How we use your information
We use your personal data to:
- respond to your enquiries and manage bookings, such as clubhouse and facility hire;
- administer sponsorship and commercial partnerships;
- run, secure and improve this website.
Our legal bases for processing are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (for example a facility hire or sponsorship enquiry), our legitimate interests in running the Club and its website, and your consent where we ask for it. We will never sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We only share personal data with service providers who help us run the Club and this website, such as our web hosting and development partners, and only so far as is necessary. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
Third-party services
Parts of this website include content from third parties, which may collect data about you when you view it:
- YouTube — we embed match highlights and other videos hosted on YouTube (Google).
- The FA Full-Time — our league tables, fixtures and results are provided by The Football Association’s Full-Time service.

Photography and filming
Matches and Club events are public occasions, and photographs or video taken there may be published on our website, programmes and social media channels for reporting and promotional purposes. If you appear in an image and would like it removed, contact us at Terry@staveleymwfc.co.uk and we will deal with your request promptly. We follow FA safeguarding guidance in relation to images of children and young people.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected — for example, enquiry details are kept while we deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards — after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete your data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability.
