The numbers tell the story

Staveley Miners Welfare Juniors was founded in 2011 following the transition of Handley Wood to the club. Starting with just seven teams and a dedicated committee, the club has grown year on year and now proudly supports 22 teams.

Our Mini Soccer programme continues to provide a strong foundation for the future, helping to develop new teams each season. This success would not be possible without the commitment and hard work of our 66 volunteers and committee members, whose dedication drives the club forward.

We are proud to offer our players access to excellent training facilities and high-quality grass pitches, all maintained to the highest standards. Recently, we successfully hosted our annual tournament, welcoming over 700 children to our 3G facility for a fantastic weekend of football and community spirit.

This achievement is just the beginning, and we look forward to continuing our growth and development in the years ahead
